ACCESSIBILITY

Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) O. Reg. 191/11, all businesses in Ontario must train their staff on accessibility laws and the Ontario Human Rights Code. This training ensures that Five Star Mfg. Inc. maintains a safe, inclusive, and accommodating workplace for all staff, visitors, and business partners.

 

While our manufacturing floor is not open to the general public, we frequently interact with third parties, including steel suppliers, logistics drivers, tool-and-die technicians, and automotive clients.

• Interacting with Visitors: Treat all vendors and contractors with dignity and independence.

• Service Animals & Support Persons: Certified service animals and support persons are legally permitted to accompany individuals in any area of our facility that is open to them (subject to plant-floor safety equipment and PPE requirements).

• Disruptions: If our accessible facilities (e.g., the handicap parking spaces or accessible washroom) are out of service for maintenance, a notice will be posted promptly.
